Celebrating the opening of the new school

On 29 June we had the official opening of the new school during the morning and a genuine celebration of the partnership that the school has with its community.  In the evening members of the community were able to see a superb film featuring local primary children with a musical score played by the world famous Halle Orchestra,  as well as a number of events, activities and displays provided by students from Heritage and local community groups.  The events of the day have been described by one observer as ‘creating a wonderful memory’.
